panoramas I think it was Marna who suggested it. Another one of those comments I haven't responded to for, what, weeks? But for months I've been using my fancy image software to compile nice panoramic shots of strutting grounds, and a few other places. Not the best, mind you. They don't always line up right, and I've been too lazy to get the exposures adjusted the same. Still, kinda fun to look at. With no means of sharing them. A 13,000 pixel-wide panorama doesn't look like much when you automatically condense it down to 800 pixels like Photobucket does. But Flickr lets you post larger images. And even better still, you can post them on a map. So, here you go. My panoramas. For those of you unfamiliar with Flickr photo maps, you click on the numbered blue circle on the map to see thumbnails of images taken at that spot. Click on a thumbnail to select a particular image. Then in the small window that opens up, click on "View photo page" in the lower right to get just that image. When that photo page opens up, select "See different size", again in the lower right. In that window, pick the size you want (the larger the better, usually). |
