There's a new addition to the fleet of vehicles that surround our corner (and yes, if you also noticed the teal car in the background, youngest son surprised us with a visit this weekend).

Eldest son finally found a new vehicle. After driving his brother's rejected (and totalled) old Subaru around for over a year.

Yes, it's a hybrid. And hence more expensive than it should have been for the mileage. And who knows where one gets electrical systems serviced around here.

At least he didn't go for another SUV. The payments probably over-extend his income from his new job, but he's got savings that would more than cover the difference.

At least we won't worry quite so much when they go traveling.

And, since his girlfriend had to work Saturday, we had a houseguest most of the day.

Dang, corgis are just so darn cute.
