More time on the telephone today than in any day for weeks.

Amazing how folks can get so stirred up over 25 elk licenses, more or less. But at least, by this time tomorrow, I should be done with this process.

For this year, at least.

And 'round about this time tomorrow, I should be bouncing across headlighted dirt roads in the desert, looking for a strutting ground to sleep on.

With almost a full moon in the sky. Should be a fun night.

If not too muddy (rain and hail today)...

So, 'til then, another strutting grouse, and his well camouflaged lady-in-waiting...
