Four people and three dogs snow-bound in a crowded house. Two of those dogs constantly stressed by the arrival of the third, the new puppy.

Around about noon, I decided the two heeler sisters needed to get out. Have a few moments when they weren't worrying about the new interloper. A chance not to be scared it would sneak up on its tiny legs and silent paws.

So I grabbed the camera, and into the snow we went. Soon venturing into the quiet backyard.

Where first each sister, in turn, paid a quick visit to their mother's grave.
