under a desert moon Sage grouse season ended Tuesday. So, yesterday afternoon and today were spent picking up the last of the wings from my barrels, and the barrels themselves. Yesterday was the easiest, closest nine barrels. Today was the remaining eight, in a big looping drive that covers 300-some miles. Hundreds of pictures taken, to maybe be posted another time. When there is time. The sun set as we collected barrel five. Leaving us to cross the desert by moonlight. Miles and miles of moonlit dirt roads. Fifty-nine miles, to be exact. |
