Okay, the two urgent, "must do now" tasks are done and out of the way. Now I should be able to go back to the overdue job of getting sage grouse lek data from this spring compiled.

And the breeding bird survey data, too, which is also overdue.

But first, if all goes well, there should be another elk flight first thing tomorrow morning.

Some fun at last.

So, in anticipation of another crop of aerial photos, here's one from the June 13th flight.

You've seen the peak before, of course. Several times, in several seasons. But the winds were high that day, so we were as well. (Staying low and being blown into mountaintops and trees is, well, a bad thing.) Gave a better view of the Steamboat country on the other side, and what I believe is the White River range.
